S-HERE is a pragmatic idea but the concept is simple
S-HERE centres around building trusting relationships with SME leaders for now and the future. Your business may have an HR issue that needs resolving or a one off project or support that will make a difference. Examples may include a new HR system, creating an onboarding programme, updating policies or managing a grievance raised by a member of your team.
You may only need high level short-term advice, but to me that’s not so important. It gives a low risk opportunity for future collaboration. At a point further in time, if you embark on a larger change project, you have a contact already. There’s no expectation of further work, but you have a sounding board for your ideas and what HR help might be needed to make them happen.
